A message from the founder

If you are on this page I would like to ask of you one thing, please support us.  I know that they are so many gifting options to choose from, many of which looks so much better than ours. But the majority of those businesses have been arround for years  and we are just starting out. So bare with us, we are doing the best we can with what we have. You can support us by making a purchase on our site, following us on social media and/or spreading the word. 

Now about me, like many moms out there, I took a career break to take care of my young kids. Since my career break, it has been incredibly challenging to find my footing in the workplace. If I was not hunting remote work, the jobs next door, and/or the jobs with the ideal hours, I was looking for the ideal role that made me feel that I had either picked up where I left off in my career or would transition into something better. Instead, I found myself starting over from the bottom of the corporate ladder, and seemingly stuck there, despite my efforts to progress.

Tired of the corporate struggle, I decided to venture into something different, Lily’s Baskets. Founded in May 2024, for me, Lily’s Baskets is a representation of something new. Something that perhaps in the long haul can give me the career gratification that I never knew I needed; being my own boss, determining my own hours, financial freedom, and of course, no more ladders. 

One thing I enjoy when making scented candles and soaps, is the fragances. The room would light up with various scents that smelled amazing, and those scents lingered in the room for days. It lingered on my clothes as well. And just when I thought it faded, I would open a drawer with product utensils or a cupboard with the products, and I would get the scent again. This often gets me excited, yerning to make more products  and try new variations of them.

At Lily's Baskets, we aim to provide unique gift baskets that are not only of high quality but gift baskets that are useful and can bring a sense of joy to those receiving them. 

Our hand-crafted gift baskets can be customized to your liking, allowing you to add personal notes, business logos, and/or select items, thus creating a unique gifting experience.  Our gift baskets can be purchased for various occasions including; birthdays, holiday gifting, anniversaries, and more. 

In closing, it is really hoped that those receiving our baskets will not only love them but will feel happy upon opening them.
